THE FOLLOWING LISTED FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES COURTS.

Attorney Dues $ 25.00
For instituting any civil action, suit or proceeding. 28 U.S.C. 1914 (The fee is comprised of a $350 filing fee and $55 administrative fee, totaling $405. The $55 administrative fee does not apply to applications for a writ of habeas corpus or to persons granted in forma pauperis status under 28 U.S.C. 1915). $ 405.00
For filing an application for a writ of habeas corpus. 28 U.S.C. 1914 $ 5.00
For docketing and filing a notice of appeal or application for appeal, or a writ of certiorari. 28 U.S.C. 1913 and 1917 $ 605.00
For filing any document that is not related to a pending case or proceeding. $ 52.00
For every search of the records of the district court conducted by the clerk of the district court or a deputy clerk. (per name or item searched). $ 34.00
For certification of any document or paper, whether the certification is made directly on the document or by separate instrument. $ 12.00
For exemplification of any document or paper. $ 24.00
For issuance of an apostille. $ 50.00
For reproducing any record and providing a copy in paper form (per page). This fee shall apply to paper copies made from either: (1) original documents; or (2) microfiche or microfilm reproductions of the original records.  This fee shall apply to services rendered on behalf of the United States if the record requested is available through electronic access. $ 0.50

For reproducing and transmitting in any manner a copy of an electronic record stored outside of the court's electronic case management system, including but not limited to, document files, audio and video recordings (per record provided).

For reproduction of an audio recording of a court proceeding, $32. This fee applies to services rendered on behalf of the United States, if the recording is available electronically.

For each microfiche sheet of film or microfilm jacket copy of any court record, where available. $ 7.00
For retrieval of one box of records from a Federal Records Center, National Archives, or other storage location removed from the place of business of the court, $70.00. For retrievals involving multiple boxes, $43.00 for each additional box. $ 70.00 (one box)

For any Electronic Record Retrieval (SmartScan) (The fee is comprised of a $11.00 administrative fee, and a $9.90 flat rate electronic retrieval fee, totaling $20.90. In addition, a fee of $0.65 per page collected is applied) $ 20.90 ( + $0.65 per page )
For any payment returned or denied for insufficient funds. $ 53.00
For an appeal to a district judge from a judgment of conviction by a magistrate in a misdemeanor case. $ 41.00
For original admission of attorneys to practice, including a certificate of admission. $ 199.00
For a duplicate certificate of admission or certificate of good standing. $ 21.00
Filing of Action under Title III of the Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity (LIBERTAD) Act of 1996, P.L. 104-114 Stat. Sec. 785 (1996) (This fee is in addition to the filing fee prescribed in 28 U.S.C. 1914(a) for instituting any civil action other than a writ of habeas corpus.) $ 7,202.00
Processing fee for an offense charged on a federal violation notice (CVB). $ 30.00
For management of registry funds invested through the Court Registry Investment System, a fee at an annual rate of 10 basis points of assets on deposit shall be assessed from interest earnings, excluding registry funds from disputed ownership interpleader cases deposited under 28 U.S.C. § 1335 and held in a Court Registry Investment System Disputed Ownership Fund.  
For management of funds deposited under 28 U.S.C. § 1335 and invested in a Disputed Ownership Fund through the Court Registry Investment System, a fee at an annual rate of 20 basis points of assets on deposit shall be assessed from interest earnings.
