In certain situations or per statute, cases may be restricted (sealed) at the time of opening or restricted afterwards.  Access to restricted cases is limited to individuals (attorney and parties) directly associated to the case and the court.  In some circumstances, those individuals are automatically granted access rights to the case and in others must be added by authorized court personnel.  If an attorney or party is authorized to have access and has not been associated accordingly, they must contact the Clerk's Office CM/ECF Help Desk.  The Help Desk can be reached via email at cmecf@nmd.uscourts.gov or phone at 505-348-2075.  Once the individual has been verfied, they will be associated to the case and be able to view the restricted case and docket information, as well as electronically file (if allowable) into CM/ECF.
