ALBUQUERQUE, NM – On Thursday, June 11, 2020, the Honorable Martha Vázquez will be presiding over a hearing in the USA v. Ayudando Alpha, Inc et al case, which is anticipated to have high public interest. With the understanding that the Santiago E. Campos U.S. Courthouse in Santa Fe is a historic building with limited capacity and due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the social distancing and safety protocols established to ensure a safe hearing, and because the Court has to allow the limited public seating to victims and certain family members of the Defendant, the general public including members of the media will not have access to the courtroom. In accordance with Administrative Order 20-MC-0000-19, the public and media will have access to the court hearing via live-streaming. As a reminder, all persons visiting a U.S. Courthouse in the District of New Mexico are required to wear a face mask to enter courthouse facilities in accordance with the safety practices established in Administrative Order 20-MC-0004-19.
