The Federal Bar Dues for 2025 have been set at $25.00, with the concurrence of the Article III judges.
Attorneys admitted to practice in the District of New Mexico must submit their dues no later than January 31, 2025. Please refer to our Guide to Paying Federal Bar Dues for detailed instructions on making an online payment through your CM/ECF account.
Important Notes:
- Bar dues apply only to attorneys admitted to practice in the District of New Mexico via a Petition for Admission.
- If you appeared in a case as an out-of-district attorney under D.N.M.LR-Civ. 83.3(a), you are not required to pay bar dues.
To maintain good standing, attorneys with unpaid dues for prior years must settle those payments. Note that bar dues were waived in 2021 and 2023. Both current and delinquent dues can be paid online through your CM/ECF account. If you are unsure whether you owe for prior years, please contact the court before submitting payment.
