On January 6, 2021 the Administrative Office of the Courts publicized information regarding a known compromise which highlighted vulnerabilities in the Judiciary’s Case Management/Electronic Case Files system (CM/ECF). This notice advises that certain highly sensitive court documents (HSDs) will now be accepted for filing only in paper form or via a secure electronic device and will not be uploaded to CM/ECF. Please be advised that the District of New Mexico is establishing its policies and procedures in response to this directive. Further communication will be provided in the next few days advising parties on the procedures for filing HSDs with the Clerk’s Office. Please continue to follow current procedures until then.
